Hi, my name is Dmitry Kabanov (or Dima, for short). I am a hobby musician living in Münster, Germany.

When I was a child, I have attended a music school where I studied piano and button accordion (a.k.a. boyan).

Ever since I have graduated from the music school, I was trying to put off my passion for music constantly, concentrating on education and career. But somehow during the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantines, I have realized that music brings so much joy in my life, and it is really silly of me to ignore it. So, in the end of 2020 I have bought a piano, and tried to compose my own music sometime in the beginning of 2021. Since then, I wrote several compositions, mostly for piano but also piano/cello, electronic, hip-hop beats, and a bit of orchestra.

My music that is based mostly on the acoustic instruments, is released under my own name “Dmitry I. Kabanov” (yes, the name “Dmitry Kabanov” was already taken). I release hip-hop beats under the name “Phaktorial”.
